The ladies of Bognor Regis Motor Club have been very busy, their 12th Regis Classic tour will be based in Shropshire at the 4* Albrighton Hall Hotel & Spa just north of Shrewsbury. www.mercure-uk.com and click on the link to the hotel. This long running event is already proving very, very popular with 57 deposits already received and the hotel already over 90% subscribed. We hope that the fundraising will exceed a Quarter of a Million pounds after the 12th event. Log onto the website to see the latest entry list.

The successful continued format for the weekend is as follows:
Arrive at the hotel on Friday ready to sign on around 6pm.
Enjoy a drink and informal buffet dinner with a chance to meet old and new friends.
After a good night’s sleep and hearty breakfast, the first car will leave around 09.00 and return around 4.30pm. There will be an interesting and challenging route of around 110 miles including the opportunity to drive Long Mynd with a morning coffee halt with a chance to sample the local Shropshire Lad & Lass at Wood’s Micro Brewery www.woodbrewery.co.uk then on to explore “The Land of Lost Content” at Craven Arms, the National Museum of British Popular Culture www.lolc.org.uk

We will be visiting the historic castle town of Ludlow www.ludlow.org.uk for a light lunch at the historic Feathers Hotel and a chance to explore the town. Afternoon cream tea halt is booked at Stokesay Court www.stokesaycourt.co.uk– the house and garden used in the film “Atonement”. Then return to the hotel through the picturesque Shropshire lanes in the late afternoon.

After a relaxing swim, dress in your “Glad Rags” ready for the pre-dinner drinks reception where the ladies will be delighted to lighten your wallets in return for some Tombola envelopes with great prizes on offer. Next item on the agenda will be the Gala Black Tie Dinner, followed by our Auction raising more funds for the two chosen charities in 2009 – Against Breast Cancer & Orchid – Fighting Male Cancer.
